Recently, Dr. Lucio Tan, honorary chairman of the board of directors of Quanzhou Normal University and leader of overseas Chinese in the Philippines, donated 500,000 RMB to QNU to support its epidemic prevention and control.
Since the novel coronavirus outbreak, Dr. Lucio Tan, though living abroad, has always been concerned about the anti-epidemic work in China. He has been generous in helping the country and schools in terms of epidemic prevention, which demonstrates his high sense of responsibility for public health and deeply cares for his hometown people as well as teachers and students in QNU. Dr. Lucio Tan’s benevolent deeds inspire every one of QNU and boost confidence in the victory over the epidemic.
