Recently, the first DingTalk Cup National Foreign Language Writing Competition for College Students in 2020 came to an end. The team led by Chen Yating, a teacher from the School of Foreign Languages of QNU, won the silver medal in the national final. Liang Sainan and Chen Yifang both won the third prize for individual. Another team from QNU was awarded the bronze medal. The two winning teams received a total of 30,000 yuan as project funding and two sets of intelligent hardware equipment supplied by DingTalk.
Hosted by College English Teaching & Research Association of China, the contest lasted more than two months and was divided into two parts: preliminaries and the final. The contest attracted nearly 300,000 students, 3000 teacher teams and 600 colleges and universities. After fierce competition, 60 team awards and 61 individual awards were presented in the end.
