From May 6 to 13, the 6th National University Student Art Exhibition and Performance was hosted by the Ministry of Education and the Sichuan Provincial Government in Chengdu, Sichuan. Chen Xiaofeng, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of QNU, led the team to participate in the event. Ye Ling, senior inspector of the Education Department of Fujian Province, extended his regards to teachers and students of QNU and highly affirmed and praised the participants.
In this art exhibition and performance, QNU won the Outstanding Organization Award. The dance work Finger Language (Quanzhou marionette performance) created by Ye Xiaoli from the School of Music and Dance won the first prize of Art Performance Category B (Professional Group) and the Excellent Creation Award. Serving the Special Needs of the Country, Innovating the Talents Cultivation of Intangible Cultural Heritage-A Case Study on Nanyin Characteristics of Quanzhou Normal University written by Lin Huakun from the School of Music and Dance won the first prize of outstanding cases of aesthetic education reform and innovation.
