On May 16, President Zhang Renliang of the Education University of Hong Kong, accompanied by his wife Mrs. Christine, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Education and Human Development Lin Zhibin, Director of Global Affairs Office Xu Shenglang, and Assistant Professor of the Department of Curriculum and Instruction Zhan Ying, paid a visit to QNU. Ke Ruiqing, Party Secretary of QNU, Qu Guangqing, President of QNU, and Huang Jiangkun, Vice President of QNU, attended the meeting, signed ceremony and symposium respectively.
Qu Guangqing and Zhang Renlian jointly signed a framework agreement for cooperation and a student exchange program agreement.
After the meeting, Professor Lin Zhibin's team engaged in in-depth professional exchanges with research teams from QNU’s School of Literature and Communication and School of Educational Science. An intention of research cooperation was reached in areas such as the online professional development of Chinese teachers in Southeast Asia and technology-driven Chinese language learning.
